Much to think about

STI's can affect your relationship because people tend to be judgemental, especially teenagers because they will go around saying "oh have you heard such and such got an STI". Michigan youth Ages 15-24 make up 18% of population however they represent 66% of gonrorhea cases and 76% of chlamydia cases. While rates of STI's among 15-24 year olds are higher than any other age groups and HIV in this demographic are comparably low. A person can prevent themselves from becoming a part of this statistic by having safer sex and getting tested. Also by being in a committed relationship or reduce the number of sex partners. To get tested for STI's or HIV/AIDS you can go to a clinic like Planned Parenthood or Horizons Project.

facebook controversy

There have been recent studies, that facebook is unhealthy for Teens. They say this website is unhealthy because it affects  relationships and social skills, sometimes good but majority of the time it ends badly. For example people that lurk on other people pages may find somethings that hurt there feelings. Some teens are naive and they think taking risk are okay, they dont really think the consequences of there actions. For example some people have left for days at a time with a complete stranger they met off facebook; or myspace. With that being said parents dont feel there children are safe, or some feel they cant truely trust there children on theses social networks. Another unhealthy thing about these social networks are the arguments over the internet and the trouble the can bring to themselves when they come face to face. We strongly agree with this because there have been many news stories on the following things we talked about.
